Yirgacheffe is one of Ethiopia’s best-known coffee-growing regions and is highly regarded for its distinctive specialty coffee.
Our Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Adado is grown at an impressive altitude of approximately 1,900–2,000 metres above sea level.
The combination of high altitude and Ethiopia’s coffee-growing environment allows the cherries to develop slowly, helping create the vibrant acidity, sweetness and aromatic character that Ethiopian coffees are known for.
The coffee is made from Heirloom varieties, adding to its traditional Ethiopian character.
Why Washed Processing Matters
Unlike coffees processed using natural or experimental fermentation methods, this coffee uses a washed process.
